Dan Hermes, Mobile software consultant, writer, speaker, Renaissance man

Dan Hermes is a sought-after technology advisor to companies nationwide specializing in mobile, .NET, and Xamarin. He is founder and principal consultant of Lexicon Systems with over twenty-five years experience as a consultant, architect, and developer.  His clientele includes Fidelity Investments, EDS, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Computerworld Magazine. Dan teaches architecture, strategy, agility, and mobile development at Microsoft User Groups, Microsoft Certification classes, corporate training, and universities.  Certified by the National Speakers Association New England(NSANE), Dan has served on the board of the Institute of Management Consultants New England.  A true Renaissance man, Dan exhibits his visual art internationally, his music compositions have aired on NPR, and he is currently director of Art Technology New England(ATNE).  He has been cited on Forbes and Reuters with articles published by Media-N and MIT Press.  He has written a series of short books entitled How to Interact with People: Human Communication in the Software Industry, Softwareball: How to Play on a Team in the Software Industry, and Agile Development in .NET.  His current book underway is Xamarin Application Development for Apress available for pre-order on Amazon with release in Spring 2015.
